About Spirit One Automotive

Spirit One Automotive opened its doors in January 2021, founded by David Eschbach. What started as one man’s vision has grown into a shop the neighborhood trusts and relies on.

A Neighborhood Shop, Through and Through

We’re not trying to be the biggest shop in town. We’re trying to be the best one for our neighbors. Our approach is consultative, not pushy. We take the time to explain what’s going on with your vehicle and why, so you can make an informed decision. Our environment is friendly, our advice is honest, and our goal is simple: keep you and your family safely on the road.

One Owner, One Vision

Spirit One Automotive has had the same ownership since day one. That consistency matters to us. It means the values we opened with are the same ones we operate by today.

From the Corporate World to His Own Garage

David has spent thirty years in the automotive industry, learning the business inside and out. In 2020, after decades of building his expertise within a corporate structure, he decided it was time to bet on himself. He left that position behind to open a shop built around the way he believes auto repair should be done: honest, personal, and community focused.

A Team Built to Last

Four of our five team members have been with Spirit One since the shop opened, and together our crew brings over 100 years of combined experience to every vehicle that comes through our doors. This isn’t a revolving door of technicians. It’s a team that knows the shop, knows the customers, and knows the work.

Life Outside the Shop

When David isn’t at the shop, you’ll likely find him spending time with his family, reading, or enjoying a good concert. Family is a big part of his life. His wife is a math teacher, his daughter works in the music business in Nashville, his son is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, and his youngest is just starting out in middle school.

At Spirit One Automotive, we’re not just fixing cars. We’re building relationships with the people and families in our community, one honest repair at a time.
